When we tell the stories of faith, we often remember the names in the spotlight, the leaders, the preachers, the miracle workers. However, behind every movement of God are those whose quiet faithfulness makes it all possible.
This Sunday we’ll hear the story of Joanna, a wealthy woman who helped fund Jesus’ ministry, and reflect on the unsung faithful whose steady hands and generous hearts sustain the church then and now.
We’ll also honor and give thanks for the many staff members and volunteers here at First Church who serve quietly behind the scenes, making ministry happen week after week. Join us for a time of gratitude, inspiration, and celebration.
