Basic vocal skills are emphasized, along with rhythmic exercises and rehearsals consist of age-appropriate songs and anthems as well as hymns and carols. Rehearsals are for 30 minutes immediately following Church School in the Silver Door classroom in the lower level. The group sings for Harvest Sunday, some Christmas services, Palm Sunday, Celebration Sunday, and Music Sunday. On the Sundays that the Cherubs sing for services, they rehearse thirty minutes prior to the service and do not practice afterwards.
