Our Parish Nurse, Sue Asselin, RN, has been involved in community health nursing and home care for more than 15 years. Her focus on health promotion and preventative medicine is founded in her Community Public Health educational background. Her compassion for people who are ill or homebound is also demonstrated in her current position as Triage Nurse for Greenwich Hospital Home Care and Hospice. Parish Nurse services available to you include: blood pressure screening, influenza vaccination, health education programs, contributions to Meetinghouse Monthly, support groups, home visits for safety evaluation or other assessments, and liaison to community resources including Greenwich Hospital Home Care and Hospice. For more information about the Parish Nurse program, or to join the Wellness Committee (the advisory board for the Parish Nurse), please call 637-1791 ext. 21.
