Palmer Handbells

The Palmer Handbells for those in 9th grade and up, play for worship on the four Sundays of Advent and 3-4 times a year. Craig Symons, Director of Music/Organist, is now leading this group. Rehearsals are on Thursday evening from 6:15 to 7:15. A group of ten ringers is required for the bulk of the repertoire that we play, with the occasional pieces requiring one or two more or less. A regular commitment to this ensemble is crucial. When a person is absent, there is a “hole” in the fabric of music being rehearsed. Music reading is essential, and experience with keyboard or percussion instruments is helpful.
