The Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is a group of volunteer singers who provide music for Sunday worship throughout the year. Weekly rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 PM in the Choir Room, located on the third floor, just above the lounge. Child care can be provided by prior arrangement with John Stansell. On Sunday mornings the choir meets at 9:00 AM in the Meetinghouse for a thirty-minute warm up prior to the 10 AM service, followed by coffee and pastries in the choir room. During the summer months there is no Thursday rehearsal.

Membership is open to everyone with a desire to sing. A good ear is important, and those with music-reading skills and experience in part singing are especially needed.
