Visiting Committee

Easter Lilies
Easter Lilies

The Visiting Committee and additional FCCOG volunteers deliver Christmas poinsettias and Easter lilies to approximately two dozen church members who are homebound or experienced a loss or serious illness within the past year. Some Visiting Committee members continue with weekly or “as needed” visits.

This group also hosts an annual Valentine’s Tea for FCCOG members living at Edgehill. For additional information about Visiting Committee, contact Linnea Stenberg (Chair) @ (203) 637-1648 or Sue Asselin (Parish Nurse Staff Liaison) @ (203) 637-1791 ext. 821.

Hats Off Book Discussion Group

Our book study group, Hats Off has chosen its second book for 2020: Olive Again by Elizabeth Strout.

“Olive Again” is constructed with 13 lightly intertwined stories taking place in the imaginary Maine towns of Crosby and Shirley Falls. The plots appear simple, but are rich in a panoply of human failings and triumphs, of weakness and resilience, of complex behavior, actions and reactions. They are funny and sad with bursts of beauty.” – Washington Times Review

Enjoy the warmth of our church lounge on Thursday mornings from 10-11:30 and join our friendly discussions!
Reserve your book through the Greenwich Library.
Please contact Debbie Berner or call her at 203-629-1110 if you would like to attend.
